Congratulations to Professor Pascal Saikaly for being named the 2024 International Honorary Member by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists (AAEES) Board of Trustees!

Prof. Saikaly's 20+ years of  pioneering research in sustainable biotechnologies have significantly advanced wastewater reclamation and resource recovery worldwide. His work has not only contributed to scientific knowledge with over 128 peer-reviewed articles but has also been applied to real-world solutions combating water scarcity, particularly in Saudi Arabia.

Among his notable achievements is a patented decentralized wastewater recycling technology, currently being demonstrated at full scale to tackle sanitation and water scarcity challenges in the region.
