The International Society for Microbial Electrochemistry and Technology (ISMET) warmly congratulates PhD student Dario Shaw from MAPTech Lab at KAUST for receiving the 2020 ISMET Discovery Award for his work on the Electro-Anammox process (Nature Communications 2020) and Xi Chen, postdoctoral researcher in Jason Ren’s lab at Princeton University, for receiving the 2020 ISMET Innovation Award for her work on spontaneous hydrogen evolution in bioelectrochemical systems (Energy & Environmental Science 2020).
