Maptech Lab hosted a senior Saudi Aramco delegation at KAUST today as part of its ongoing collaboration to integrate cutting-edge biotechnologies into the Kingdom’s oilfields.

The visit opened with in-depth technical presentations by Aramco experts and Maptech Lab’s senior R&D team, highlighting joint progress on pilot studies, shared achievements and research milestones.

Following the briefings, the delegation toured our fully operational pilot facilities, including the Microbial Electrochemical Systems (MEC) unit and the chain-elongation pilot system.

This milestone event underscores our shared commitment to innovation and paves the way for Maptech Lab to bring its biotechnologies into Saudi Aramco oilfields, advancing the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 energy agenda.
