Krishna Katuri, Ph.D.

Research Scientists

Senior Research Scientist

Research Interests

Dr. Katuri’s research focuses on “underpinning anaerobic microbial oxidations for sustainable resource recovery (H2 and water) from wastewaters, based on electron transfer between electroactive biofilms and carbon surfaces”. His interdisciplinary microbial-mediated resource recovery research links microbiology, electrochemistry, molecular microbial ecology and membrane science with applications in engineered electrochemical membrane biofilm reactors.
